The stock Nissin sliding calliper on the Triumph Bonneville is considered by many to be a good enough brake, especially when compared with a 1970s TLS drum! but improvements can always be made. The Billet “Mini 6” has not only 6 tiny pistons, but 6 tiny pads, each about 1 inch square and with a special friction material unique to the calipers specification and available off the shelf here when replacement is due. The calliper gives a more progressive application of braking effect and improved feel. Just as importantly the Billet Callipers are made from solid 6082-T6 aluminium, providing a lighter, stronger and slimmer calliper than is possible by any other means and one that should last well. Made in England & manufactured to not only ISO 9001 but is also fully TUV certified. So no worries about type approval and so on. Fitting the calliper is easy: standard hoses fit perfectly. Just as importantly no additional brackets are needed; just select a couple of the supplied shims to make sure the calliper is centred over the disc.Fits Bonneville, T100.
